Surprisingly the keyword “Drone” remained the top keyword search. January Sales 2017 started just as 2016 ended! Our January […]

Michael Bilde sells another cvcv.com at BrandBucket for close to $70K

February 16, 2017 by Raymond Hackney 9 Comments

Back on January 7th I wrote about two four letter cvcv.coms selling at BrandBucket. Teso.com sold for $69,995 and Mino.com sold for $64,995. The one thing those names had in common was that they both moved to privacy at Safenames. DNBolt reported over at Namepros that another CVCV.com sold, Nelo.com and the price was $69,995. […]

FakeNews.com owner says he paid $250 and has had six figure offers

February 13, 2017 by Raymond Hackney 4 Comments

Fake news has certainly become a big buzzword over the last few months. There isn’t a day that goes by where someone on CNN or Fox is not discussing fake news. CNN anchor Chris Cuomo had to apologize for saying a fake news accusation is like the N-word for journalists. There is a story on […]

January 29, 2017 by Raymond Hackney 1 Comment

Some believe that all the new gtlds will affect the value and sales for .com. Will .com sales eventually only become 60% of the top 100 ? (I don’t think […]

January 13, 2017 by Raymond Hackney 19 Comments

Namepros member Arca put together a very interesting post on Huge Domains and their participation in GoDaddy Auctions. Now it’s no surprise that other industry players bid on domain name auctions at GoDaddy. Arca’s test showed Huge Domains winning 50% of the auctions they were monitoring or bidding on against Huge Domains. I’ve been […]

January 10, 2017 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

Verisign released their top 10 trending keywords for December, and Amazon was number one in .com. The Christmas holidays no doubt catapulted this one to the top. The rest of the list is rather random, lawn was number two and fake was number three. Fake had to do with fake news. .Net showed near as […]
