Vey.com closes at $30,250 second time around on the reauction

July 30, 2022 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

Vey.com was registered back in 1997, sold for $4,000 in 2007 at Sedo. It was left to expire and caught by DropCatch. The auction closed at $48,250. It was unpaid and reauctioned, it closed on Saturday at $30,250. Closing on a Saturday in the summer probably didn’t help with the bidding action. According to DotDB.com […]

Base.xyz closes at $5,251 to lead Sedo new gTLD auction

July 28, 2022 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

Sedo wrapped up their New gTLD auction and as I expected Base.xyz topped the chart with $5,251. It should be noted that a fair number of names had premium renewals. So those who looked them up probably tempered their bidding. base.xyz 5,251 USD 2022-07-28 Sedo star.app 2,575 USD 2022-07-28 Sedo properties.app 2,350 USD 2022-07-28 Sedo […]

July 25, 2022 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

I wrote a couple days ago about 010.com. KT Corportation out of South Korea let a real gem drop. 010.com was left to expire and was caught by DropCatch. The auction went on and on back and forth First1 ended up winning the auction as NewYorker bowed out. The closing price was $121,150. The auction […]

July 21, 2022 by Raymond Hackney 1 Comment

The new gtld auction at Sedo has just gotten underway. Each name has a reserve in the $1-$99 range. The star of the auction for .xyz in my opinion is Base.xyz I think that will be the domain name closing at the highest price. There are 60 .xyz domain names in the auction. There are […]

SmartAboutMoney.org closes at $141,000 Stellar link profile propelled the auction higher

July 20, 2022 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

SmartAboutMoney.org closed for a whopping $141,000 at GoDaddy auctions. This does not mean raise the pricing on your money related .orgs and don’t use it as a comp when you are selling keywordkeywordmoney.org. This was purely a link play as the domain name has an excellent link profile and a high domain rating according to […]
