For many years we have missed the sales reports from Afternic and GoDaddy. Since GoDaddy became a public company they have not released any sales data.
Joe Styler wrote on Namepros:
We would like to release more sales data than we do but there are certain things we have to account for and work out such as SEC compliance and NDA agreements on sales just to name a couple.
LoveDomains posted today they received the following email:
As part of our dedication to transparency within the Domain Aftermarket we will share a curated list of our public top sales including domain name and the corresponding price of the transaction, beginning in October.
We are excited for the additional visibility this will provide Domain Investors such as yourself.
If you would like to request a transaction to be excluded from publication, please contact your account manager at Premier Services, Afternic, or email email@example.com
So that would be a welcome change, as I have written about before, we have been losing sales data points.
