Verisign released their top trending keywords for October. In .com the list was dominated by marijuana related names. There were a few states that passed a law legalizing recreational use on election day.

I’m surprised there are that many people that can spell “Marijuana” correctly. 🙂
Cannabis, Hemp, Organics, Green, etc are more popular terms for new businesses in the space. Marijuana is actually a made up term. Purists really do not like using “Marijuana” and prefer Cannabis and Hemp.
