November 11, 2015 by Raymond Hackney 1 Comment

There is talk of hype, bubbles, unrealistic valuation…There is talk about someone will get left holding the bag. Of […]

November 8, 2015 by Raymond Hackney 7 Comments

Business Insider published an article on Saturday that takes a look at what most in our business have been discussing for months. Buyouts here, buyouts there, no more 6N.com or 4L.net. The article delves into why domain names are the perfect Chinese investment vehicle. No customs declaration. No property taxes. No annual fees (outside of […]

November 3, 2015 by Raymond Hackney 4 Comments

You never know in this business, things you register and believe in never take hold, you get tired and sell for pennies or you may even just drop a domain altogether. When I saw a domain on the Sedo sales report this week it took me back close to a decade. Devils.tv sold for $10,000 […]

The best Christmas gift that Go Daddy could give customers this Holiday season is a % of auction prices. That’s right let the biggest registrar in the industry follow in the steps of Australian based Fabulous and give back to the customer who has let their domain expire.
