BrandBucket sent out their March newsletter on Friday and it looks like the average sale was $2,521. (Sales over $10,000 are excluded). This is the third month in a row the average sale has gone down. November $3,044, December was $2,938 and January was $2,885.
They did not include what categories sold this month, but they added how many sellers had more than 1 sale for the month.
Two word sales made up 66% vs 73% in January. Keyword names continue to outsell invented names by a 3 to 2 ratio.
A Quick Look Back at February
2019 continues to be a strong year, and in February we saw one of our largest single sales ever. Removing sales over $10k, the average sale amount was $2,521. A whopping 50 different sellers received the “Your name has been sold on BrandBucket” email as well!
No mention of two key employees – the sales manager and the marketplace manager – leaving. Not all is good at BrandBucket.
