What are the odds?

April 29, 2020 by Raymond Hackney 2 Comments

The number $65,500 is just such a random closing price, yet it was the top closing amount two days in a row. Tuesday saw Webmonkey.com close at $65,500 and Wednesday we have 666777.com close for the exact same amount. That’s a big number showing that the few that claimed auction prices were down, were […]

Coolshop.com sold for $100,000

April 26, 2020 by Raymond Hackney 1 Comment

Michael Bilde a Danish domainer who is no stranger to making big sales himself, posted about the sale of Coolshop.com. According to Danish newspaper BT (https://www.bt.dk/kendte/kendt-mill…mmelige-agenter-begaa-ikke-samme-fejl-som-mig), one of the owners’ biggest regrets was not securing the .com right from the beginning after they began expanding using coolshop.dk. This is my loose translation: “We found out […]

April 24, 2020 by Raymond Hackney 3 Comments

I almost forgot about the .buzz extension as I have not really come across any sites on the net. But tonight Sedo reported that Casino.buzz sold for $20,501. The domain was registered in 2018 and due to expire in 6 weeks. Without knowing exactly what the premium renewal would be on the name, I use […]

April 22, 2020 by Raymond Hackney 4 Comments

There are different things that can be perplexing or frustrating while navigating aftermarket sites. One of then on Sedo for me is where the make an offer listing includes what I deem improper wording. When you look at ZZE.com, this is a make an offer name. It says Seller’s asking price 500 GBP, asking price […]
