November 27, 2020 by Raymond Hackney 3 Comments

A long time member of Namepros and someone who I interacted with frequently in the .tv sub forum, Fleaking, announced a $10,000 sale. For $10,000 USD via Sedo, so happy with it because it is the longest domain(18 characters) and also a highest hand-regged name that I’ve ever sold, most importantly… it has 0 other […]

$29,888 buyer of Fantaseek.com revealed

November 20, 2020 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

Mike Mann sold Fantaseek.com for $29,888 last month and now there is a website up but it looks a little incomplete. Mike got a great price, this is the kind of brandable that a brandable boutique would price in the $2,000 – $3,000 range. Real fantasy adventures, thus the play on seeking fantasy with Fantaseek. […]

Money down the drain on StreamCast.com, FXSC.com and more

November 19, 2020 by Raymond Hackney 1 Comment

Looking at some drops over the last couple days you see a lot of wasted money down the drain. StreamCast.com was actually dropped in 2014 after being a personal website for a gentleman involved in tech. Back then it closed at $6,553. You won’t find it on Namebio because it did not cover DropCatch until […]

November 15, 2020 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

New domain name investors often are given the advice, “Check the sales data to learn about what’s a good domain name.” A cursory glance of the sales data provided by Namebio or DNJournal can leave one confused or hastily registering bad domain names. November 13, 2020 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

GoDaddy July 2020 sales are led by Fanbase.com. I wrote about the buyer of Fanbase.com a few weeks ago. It would be nice if we could get more than 20 sales but something is better than nothing. At a minimum let’s get caught up and do August, September, October. 19 of the 20 reported sales […]
