If you can get the Twitter handle to match your best brandables

December 3, 2011 by Raymond Hackney 4 Comments

Written by: RH The search of Twitter handles becomes almost as crazy as the search for domains.  Twitter names you would think are available to get are taken as frequently as domains you would think are free to register. I am not talking about top keywords or geo names.  There are so many people that […]

imigration.com sells for $35,000

December 1, 2011 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

Just coming through as sold on Sedo is the domain imigration.com for $35,000. The name is obviously one "m" away from immigration.  So it looks like a strong i keyword sale. The domain was regged in 1998.  Whois shows Moniker privacy, looked to have been just a parked page. SubscriptionEconomy.com is another nice sale today […]

Why do people register celebrity names ?

November 30, 2011 by Raymond Hackney Leave a Comment

People continue to register celebrity names because sometimes they get paid.  I just read the post on ElliotsBlog.com about the UDRP on the Detroit Lions star player Ndamukong Suh.  Elliot brought out some great points that are 100 % right imo. The reason why registrations continue is because people read a story like the one […]
