I often wonder on the GoDaddy domains where they show high traffic amounts, how long is that traffic going to last? I bet the next 30 days you see 25% of what they list as the traffic amount. However, I never check PR or se listings which is probably a big part of the bidding process. People probably consider it a “site purchase” and scrape Google’s cache only to rebuild it.
Has anyone paid attention to this and seen what happens to these high traffic domains that get bidded up on GoDaddy. i’ve often wondered if it is a pump and dump by GoDaddy lol
You make some good points. I can say the first name I ever bought at Godaddy auctions the traffic was not a lot, it was like 200 and when I parked the name never close. Now I bought another name and the traffic has been good and better than what Godaddy said.
I am interested in the $14,250 valuation. This site was providing free content I believe, possibly not legit to show for free. So hard to get that traffic monetized imo.
