Registered in February of 1995, FastFood.com sold for $65,000 at Sedo. The domain name moved to Google domains from Network Solutions where it was registered for years.
The domain name redirects to Pareto20.com an investment firm out of Miami. Under stealth companies they list hospitality as one of their categories. I would imagine they acquired for one of those companies.
Looking at archive.org it looks like the asking price was $300,000 if you went to the landing page.

Sold for pretty cheap.
Agreed
Seems a little on the low end for the domain. However, we don’t have enough details to know why it transpired as it did. Congrats!
This name has been for sale forever, pretty sure around 20 years in and out of auctions.
Very few companies want to use an EMD like this, term is not quite right either because it is seen as a word with negative connotations.
Reminds me a lot of CustomerService.com, sounds like 7 figures but in reality it is a 5 figure name and that value has fallen over time.
The price has to be seen as “cheap” to get a bite on a name like this.
Think Food Delivery.
Low-to-mid 6 figures minimum IMO.
That’s where I was going with this one. Competing with UberEats, GrubHub, DiDi, and the likes, even if they start locally to see it in action.
Would need billions to compete with those co’s. Most co’s with billions would use a brand name like the ones you listed above.
I read seller gets free fast food for life…so that could be worth millions!!!
Seems low to me.
it sold for too cheap for sure but this is one of those domains were its too generic and uses are limited. fast food is also kind of a negative term these days.
Depends on how you interpret “Fast Food”. Nowadays it can mean food delivery as well, Cha-Ching.
It is not cha-ching when it has been on the market for 20 years and eventually sold for $65k.
