Everyone’s dying to know: When will they *finally* going to upgrade to .com?
These will never make it into the Fortune 500 without a .com!
/sarc
Times are changing. .com = unneeded. Old & Unsavvy!
In the meantime, com’rs are salivating over the breadcrums – leaked traffic…as if!
Really, the burden of proof is on them!
Where’s the data? What’s laughable/negligible? 2% – 5% traffic lost forever? Perhaps the benefits (which .comrs are in denial of) outweigh such ‘claimed’ leaked traffic? I ask them, how much *GAINED* traffic for having an exacting & appealing domain!? CTR test would be very telling…but have they even compared stats?? Change has happened. .COM grossly underperforms in practice.
Still, how much leaked traffic is there!?!? Means nothing to me without #s. Sure they ran an analysis before making such wild claims? Unless, that’s all they operate on – a wild claim while they pretend as if it’s a debilitating factor without upside.
I’m waiting. Who ran the objective tests?
Leaked traffic – the Bogyeman.
The perceived unappealingness of .com going forward will nullify all their arguments. They’ll look pathetic holding on, pumping, “.com is king”.
These are super high risk given the $100 reg fee. .IO and .Co would be a far better bet and have less “time dating” issues.
