Taking a look at some of the domain name sales action from Thursday, a couple names got a lot less the second time around on a reported transaction.
Sometimes it’s as simple as the name expired and it’s not an end user buying but rather a domain investor. Sometimes it is a sale to another end user.
PhotoModel.com sold back in 2011 for $9,200 on Sedo and went for half of that on Thursday at GoDaddy. The auction closed at $4,550.
Easy360.com sold for $3,500 back in 2013 at Afternic, it expired and closed at $801 on DropCatch.
RoyalBingo.com sold for $2,000 on Sedo back in 2011, closed at just $610 on GoDaddy.
FindNearby.com sold for $1,500 on Afternic in 2012, went for just $494 on NameJet on Thursday.
GotASecret.com sold for $2,188 on Afternic in 2012 went for $154 on Thursday at GoDaddy.
NeverTrump.com was registered in February of 2016 and left to expire 4 years later. Someone paid $2,070 for another election year run, we will see if it gets developed.
