Here is another look at some domain name sales that are not recorded on Namebio. The reason being these were generated from the GoDaddy domain appraisal tool, so more than likely these were sales generated through Afternic or Namefind.
When you search for a domain name using the GoDaddy appraisal tool, you will see comparable sales on the right hand side, you will also see more when you scroll down to the bottom of the page.
So I started taking a look at the comparable sales and then I put that name into Namebio and check to see if it was recorded there. I would imagine Michael at Namebio will not be able to add them since there is no date. Here was the first list of domain sales. and here is the second list.
Note some of these sales could be more than 10 years old.
dissident.com Sold for $23,000
lizard.com more than $25,000
pitcher.com more than $25,000
snatch.com more than $25,000
dragonfly.com more than $25,000
wallflower.com more than $25,000
Hutch.com $24,999, previously sold for $11,770 in 2009 on Snapnames. I remembered this company’s previous name Zoom Interiors from Shark Tank. The registrant address is not far from where I live, though I believe they are based in Los Angeles.
Viper.com for $3,000 was the steal of the list. Of course we don’t have a date but the registrant data looks the same for years.
