Some domain name sales you haven’t heard like True.org

December 2, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

GoDaddy Domain Appraisal Tool

Here is a look at some domain name sales that are not recorded on Namebio. The reason being these were generated from the GoDaddy domain appraisal tool, so more than likely these were sales generated through Afternic or Namefind.

When you search for a domain name using the GoDaddy appraisal tool, you will see comparable sales on the right hand side, you will also see more when you scroll down to the bottom of the page.

So I started taking a look at the comparable sales and then I put that name into Namebio and check to see if it was recorded there. I would imagine Michael at Namebio will not be able to add them since there is no date.

So here are some sales you never heard about:

cryptospark.com $4,695
cryptonow.com $5,000
cryptocoach.com $2,595
megaspray.com $6,495
buysoccer.com $4,099
buyofficefurniture.com $2,340
verified.site $3,500
nh.org $8,600
nh.tv $7,999
ai.gallery $3,000
datatrap.com $2,750
datageek.com $1,500
dataflash.com $3,088
datachat.com $3,395
the.blue $5,550
lasvegasesports.com $2,095
dignitasesports.com $950
hollywoodesports.com $2,495
true.org $21,249
vsco.org $3,788
sockmonkeymedia.com $1,120
dataoptions.com $2,000
Recon.com $12,000
TDS.io $12,500
elect.io $2,950
lho.com $8,045
hen.io $2,000
tm.io $1,225
bort.com $2,000
drab.com $6,000
sol.io $2,500
ho-ho.com $1,495
like.co.uk $5,834
Pip.co $15,200

True.org being the highest sale, interestingly it points to a Facebook page. This was once owned by Namefind.

I was interested to see what Recon.com sold for as I own Recon.io and the name has been getting offers every week since I owned it, nothing over $1,200 but it has had a plethora of $250 and $500 offers.

Pip.co for $15,200. Owned by Partners in Performance and forwards to Pipint.com.

NH.tv for $7,999 I actually own the name now, it actually dropped and I picked the name up.

TDS.io for $12,500 tied for the second highest 3L .io sale of all time.

Great work, a lot of unreported .io sales.

    Thanks for the info.
Just keep in mind that these sales can be as old as 10 years or maybe more.
That is only one of the problems of the bad godaddy appraisal “system”.

Agreed, that’s why I said Michael probably cannot add them. True looked to be a little more recent, Pip.co a couple years back. But I think LHO.com way long time ago.

Really good article. I did not know about Nambio so I learn some from this posting. I figure the sales Gogaddy shows in the appraisal are only sales that Godaddy makes? Am I wrong? I also have to wonder why they don’t show the date of the sale?
