Looking back at April here we will examine sales data trends for certain naming categories.

Overall Namebio recorded 9,729 Total Sales ($100 or more) for a dollar amount of $7.8m. Cooking.com was the high sale at $402.5k.

There were 4 sales that reached 6 figures

accidentattorney.com 150,000 USD 2019-04-14 GoDaddy
snake.com 135,000 USD 2019-04-07 BQDN

Short names

Three letter .coms saw 4 sales in April

kpo.com 33,000 USD 2019-04-12 Sedo
ztd.com 19,000 USD 2019-04-17 NameJet
zbo.com 14,016 USD 2019-04-25 Sedo
uxv.com 12,500 USD 2019-04-25 NameJet

Four letter .coms recorded 495 sales that brought in $509,300. Of those 495 sales, 93 were Chips, (no a,e,i,o,u,v). Those chips brought in $97,400 in sales.

Popular four letter combo CVCV recorded 13 sales for $131,500.

Numerics There was only one 4N.com sale in April and that was 8054.com at $29,005.

There were 367 5N.com sales in April, these sales generated $349,400 in sales. The average sale price was $952. 47777.com was the high sale at $18,502.

6N.com sales totaled 130 for $67,500. 746666.com was the high sale at $5,700.

Popular Keywords

There are certain keywords that are the most sought after in domain wanted threads, certain keywords that are the strongest when it comes to overall registration numbers.

Media recorded 18 sales ending in media, DDmedia.com was the high sale at $2,800. The average sale was $389.

Labs recorded 9 sales ending in labs with SEOlabs.com being the high sale at $2,850. The average sales price was $1,046.

Online recorded 21 sales ending in online with meteorshowersonline.com being the high sale at $1,913. The average sales price was $387.

Coin recorded 19 sales ending in coin with DigitCoin.com being the high sale at $1,988. The average sales price was $413. Coin also recorded 11 sales as the first keyword in a two word combo. coinasset.com was the high sale at $4,544. The average sales price was $755.

CBD recorded 47 sales starting with CBD with cbdoilgels.com being the high sale at $2,738. The average sales price was $343. CBD recorded 25 sales ending in CBD with yourcbd.com being the high sale at $2,650. The average sales price was $330.

Crypto recorded 17 sales starting with Crypto with cryptopoint.com being the high sale at $1,825. The average sales price was $441. There was 1 sale with crypto as the second keyword, ForexCrypto.com sold for $1,105.

New GTLD’s

The new gtld’s generated 47 sales and brought in $192,100 in sales. The high sale was Business.Club at $60,936.

April belonged to .app taking 6 out of the top 10 spots.
