Weekly Sales Trends

In this weekly post we are going to take a look back at the previous 7 days and look for trends and patterns in recorded domain sales as published by Namebio.

I am not including sales under $100.

In total the previous week registered:

1,796 Total Sales

$1m Dollar Volume

$584 Average Price

$1,917 Standard Deviation

$100 Low Price

$52k High price

1533 of these sales were .com, 70 were .net, 131 were .org sales.

There were only 4 new gtld sales and 46 cctld sales.

A look at popular, liquid categories:

There were no 3L.coms sold for the week, 15 3L.net average price $585. 11 3L.orgs sold with an average price of $577.

4L.coms produced 92 sales for a total of $133,200. Xexe.com topped the list at $52,000. VPN.com was the seller.

5N.coms produced 75 sales for a total of $59,000 ($3,800 high). 6N.coms added another 25 sales for $20,000. ($4,800 high).

As far as popular keywords, either by domain counts, or requested in domain wanted threads.

Tech registered 11 sales with TechCareers.com being the highest sale at $2,650.

Coin registered 6 sales with FBcoin.com being the highest sale at $10,000.

CBD has been highly requested on Namepros, 3 sales for the week with the high sale being a .co, CBDoils.co at $1,052.

Media registered 5 sales with MarqueMedia.com being the highest sale at $613.

Labs registered 4 sales with CinnamonLabs.com being the highest at $373.

Crypto registered 5 sales with CryptoMining.org being the highest at $4,000.

Data registered 7 sales with SuperiorData.com being the highest sale at $894.

GoDaddy racked up 1,099 of all sales, with NameJet at 370 and DropCatch at 230.
