Hello Friends,
I have had a long and fruitful relationship with the .TV extension. In 2010, I sold an online swimwear business which I had launched in 1996. Shortly thereafter I started registering .TV domain names, after Verisign’s pricing metamorphous. My swimwear business featured video clips of runway shows as early as 1999. I believed video to be a preferred format, in this fast paced world, and that no extension says video better than .TV.
Over the years, I’ve had a good number of meaningful sales including: Connect.TV $25k, Concert.TV $21k, Metal.TV $16k and a great number of sales in the $2k-$7k range. Even with the dilution in the marketplace, I believe that the two-letter .TV extension, matched with the right keyword, acronym or numerics, can hold its own against the competition.
Over the last year, I have been brokering some super premium .COM domain names. I believe that for big businesses, with big budgets, a super premium .COM can be a game changer. For up and comers without the budgets and for larger businesses looking to fill a niche or launch a promotion, .TV is an excellent lower cost solution. I find brokering the super premium .COM domain names very rewarding.
I am now in the process of inking a deal with an exciting new start-up. As a C-level executive in this new enterprise, I will be devoting quite a bit of time and energy to this new endeavor. I decided that this would be a good time to clear my desk, so that I can get off to a good start with the starter pistol sounds. As working fourteen hour days is the norm for me, I will still be able to broker the big ticket names, but I’m looking to find good homes for my very special .TVs.
In light of this, I have repriced almost every name in my portfolio at $500 each. I paid thousands of dollars each for a good number of my .TV brands. As time is of the essence, I’d like to get this done quickly. In addition, With the big ticket sales and the potential for a propitious future for the start-up, having some losses this year is not such a terrible thing as I will be able to utilize the deductions.
I have a link to my portfolio here. In addition, I have some auctions going on now at Pheenix. I encourage you all to have a look. All I ask is that you take good care of them.
-Claude

Can you send your entire list in excel format to me at bruce@shortdomainbroker.com? My commission is 10%, but I think I can get a lot of these old for you.
you have your last name listed might want to keep that one.
Thank you for pointing that out Brian. Dauman.com was my very first domain name registration. I have it listed as make offer, without a price.
If it’s worth more to someone else, I might consider parting with it, but it would take a very big number.
i.m.o your .TV domains suck. that’s why you cant sell them. no great Keywords. no great 1 word .TV (ask people magazine why they own People.TV why Time.Tv , Twitch.Tv $970,000,000 you cant have a weak portfolio of .Tv domains and say well im changing course when you didn’t have the right .tv domains to begin with. you own CAFERACER.TV that domain sucks. .TV is on fire there are 3 .tv channels on cable TV they are PETS.TV – CARS.TV – COMEDY.TV great keywords
You are high Claude has been one of the better investors in dot tv. And no tv is not hot.
@Epstein,
Nobody appointed me referee. All the same, I think domaining suffers from a lack of etiquette.
When somebody writes a public post trying to sell domains, it strikes me as rude to sabotage the seller’s efforts, sneering at the particular items he’s selling. Unless the seller is deceiving buyers, let him sell. We don’t walk into brick-and-mortar stores, pick up the inventory, and declare loudly how much it all sucks. At least, I hope not.
Criticizing domains is fine in the right setting. When the owner asks for an appraisal, definitely. When we’re talking about recent sales or branding decisions, then some examination or critique is worthwhile. Domainers ought to discuss broad market categories, some of which do suck. But let’s not interfere with sellers trying honestly to sell. After all, we’re all sellers too.
Agree
attn: Jerry
Twitch.Tv $970,000,000 purchased by Amazon / Jeff Bezos
that alone should shut you up but of course you are a hater / .cc investor
MLB.TV – NBA.TV – UFC.TV and almost every major corp owns their .TV
this guy sold concert.tv for chump change because every Major Promotor makes $$$ on Ticket Sales and DVDS. that’s why it was a small sale. try to offer 25k for CARS.TV or COMEDY.TV btw I have sold 2 .TV
domains = $560K that are under nda and I am not the only one doing this.
in fact I know I am not even close to being one of the highest sales for .TV in the last 2 years. TV means something in every country on Earth. just because you own a bunch of .horse, .net, or dot whatevers and getting nothing for them doesn’t mean everyone else is in your sad situation. lastly DNJOURNAL doesn’t post every sale on planet earth.
