DN Forum to add increased security measures

November 5, 2011 by Raymond Hackney

Adam Dicker posted a couple days ago that DN Forum is upping their security.

Adam posted:

All NEW users will be required to be phone and address verified – This will be part of the new user registration process and is being custom built for us.

Only email addresses that will be allowed to be used will be ones that are paypal verified and attached to real Paypal accounts.

Usernames for NEW users will have to be there first and last names on their paypal accounts – Also a custom build.

It's high time we got transparent since we seem to demand it from all the other companies in our industry.

I want to know who I am dealing with and I want their reputation on the line if they screw me or anyone else over.

Adam Dicker

Will Namepros follow ? It makes sense that people know who they are dealing with and its nice to see the platform owner care enough to make members feel comfortable doing business on their website.

I think this is a great step in the right direction. I do believe more transparency in the industry will expose the bad elements and remove some of the less desirable people from the industry. Being part of the namepros team I wanted to mention that we are focused on security as well. Great update as I hadn’t logged into DNF for a day or so.
