Buzzlike.com was a domain name that was expiring on Name.com back in March. A couple brandable investors were eyeing the domain name. Nat Hunt posted on Namepros that he was waiting for the name to get a little cheaper on the Name.com expiring platform. Michael Krell beat him to it and purchased the domain for something like $40.
So Michael ended up selling the domain on BrandBucket in September. The sale price was $2,495. The sale was reported by DNBolt.com. A few weeks later in the Sedo weekly sales report the domain Buzzlike.com is reported sold AGAIN !
This time around the domain sells for 19,000 Euros ($21,281). This kind of flip became all the buzz (see what I did there) in the brandable community. Some people on Namepros did some good research and fact checking.
Namepros member Hookbox did some research and it looked like before the domain expired it was owned by Chad Folkening and John Ferber a couple of heavy hitters in the domain space. When looking at the Whois history on DomainIQ.com for this article it looks like the owner was actually,
Registrant Name: Jeongwoo Cheon
More than likely Cheon listed the domain on DomainPower.com. The other interesting thing about this domain is that back in 2011 Bill Doshier of Dot Buzz actually owned BuzzLike.com.
Namepros member JimJammy reported that she spoke to Michael Krell on the BrandBucket Slack channel. He told her that he sold it back to the original owners.
So it looks like that Cheon was able to sell it to the new owner for 19,000 Euros on Sedo.
The new owner is a French company called Webrivage.com from their website: The WebRivage Group, the product of 10 years’ experience in the Internet, will provide you all its know-how, to solve your marketing problems.
The website goes on to say they have over 80 websites.
Currently the domain redirects to YesWePoll.com

Hey Raymond, if I recall correctly the name was probably more like $20 on Name.com. If I had got it, I would’ve just submitted it to BB as well, and so maybe I missed out on $1,600 but I wouldn’t have got that $21,000 so I’m not kicking myself that much.

Damn, i’ve been staying away from “buzz” lately because of certain brands in that space, but now i see that was a mistake.
