Today we are looking at brandable sales on Sedo and NameJet that were released earlier in the week.
TechTemple.com sold for $16,000, a great name IMO. Tech is a popular selling keyword, add in the alliteration with this one just makes it all the better. The seller was out of Korea, the domain was registered in 2005 by a registrant in Oregon. The name dropped twice before 2005. The Oregon registrant looks to have sold it a year later to the Korean company. The Korean company buys and sells domain names. Took 10 years to sell and this IMO is a better brandable than most listed on any brandable boutique. Sedo still shows as the registrant.
Noote.com sold for 4,000 Euros, a play on note and a naming pattern that has seen an uptick on BrandBucket lately. There are many names getting approved that are repeating a letter in the middle or the end. I tend to get the ending better, a name like Fiverr makes more sense to me than Fiiver. The name has been registered since 2006 and dropped three times before.
CreditFit.com sold for $2,899 this was a buy it now listing. They probably left some money on the table as CSC handled the purchase for their client, OneTechnologies who actually uses a .net as the .com is developed and trademarked. The domain has been registered since 2002.

At NameJet we tend to see a lot of short liquid domains sell for good to great prices. There are some decent brandable buys each month that sometimes get overlooked.
Netco.com an old school name, regged in 1995 and only one registrar, Network Solutions. The domain was purchased by an end user New England Tanker Charter. $10,200 is a good buy for a companmy looking to have a short name that works in a mobile world.
MindWorks.com is another stellar brandable. Registered in 2000 and this time a domain investor purchased the domain for $9,900. No reason this cannot sell to the right enduser for high five figures.
BadMonkey.com registered in 2003 one year after the .net. The buyer is Doron from DNGeek.com and Efty. The name sold for $2,440. Best of luck to Doron on the resale here.

BadMonkey is a good name but $2,440 seems like a lot of money for this name in my opinion from an investment perspective. It can definitely be flipped for more but I don’t see a big flip here. I could be totally wrong because you never know with brandables. Doron is using the 10 time formula and asking $24,900 for the name.
Monkey names are good investments if you get the right ones. Keith Deboer bought BuyMonkey for $155 on Godaddy and sold it for $3,395 on BB a few months later.
Not sure if Noote is a play on Note. Normally this type of name convention works where you add a letter but the sound of the name doesn’t change. Like Sparkk, Blastt, etc… Noote sounds like Foot or Loot.
I like the alliteration TechTemple. The great keyword Tech paired with the mediocre add on Temple. Good money only because it’s an alliteration. Use the word Temple with any other non alliteration type word and the domain sucks in my opinion. Not always but most times.
MindWorks is stellar. 50 grand or more all day long to the right buyer. Surprised an end user has not bought it already though.
ConnectPeople is a bargain at 3 grand.

There was an app named Noote and it played off Note is why I mentioned it.
