New look for Go Daddy Auctions rolled out. Go Daddy made changes to the look and feel of its popular auction site.
The site now which is just white has some different functionality. When you look at an individual name in the list its slimmer but with not all the info that used to be there. The biggest one being age.

Not having the age for expired domains needs to get fixed imo. Now you can still click the advanced search and put in the age option, but the age is not listed in the listing. The new site is making the user have to do more to get the same info.
Let's say you are doing a search and you want names that are a minimum of 8 years registered, when you do the search you do not get the individual age of each name.

I liked the old site much better and Go Daddy needs to fix a few things imo.
What do you think ?

Lots of issues, you can no longer check what you paid for past domains via tdman, lost lots of function with the upgrade.
Thanks for the comment Tom, yeah that’s not cool. Not sure there was a need for the change
Tom when I go to Won I still can see what I paid for domains by clicking advanced search and changing the date.
I am not a fan of the new design and layout for a number of reasons.
I wish companies would quit tinkering and just change for the sake of change.
Brad
Who makes these decision over there?
I have said this in the past and have sent in suggestions that they need to work with traders specifically from the financial community.
The data layout is not good and they should have more data points.
More importantly, why do I have to read about this here or know about it when I log in?
They didn’t communicate this thing to their clients and that is not good.
Thanks for the feedback all,
Age being left out was an oversight and will be fixed today. We’ll also be making the font size on the domain a bit bigger to utilize the additional space better.
Tom, we didn’t change anything about the bidding or selling management areas, so you shouldn’t be seeing any loss of data or functionality there. To see past purchases, just go to your won items and click the “advanced” link and set the date back to the beginning of the year (or whatever start date you want).
Brad, I’d love to hear what your issues with the new design are, you can post them here or reach out to me personally paul -at- godaddy.com

Thank you Paul for fixing that.
