A Tale of two cctld sales
787.cc becomes the highest reported numeric .cc sale. The domain was auctioned at Dynadot and closed at $51,000.
This is the third highest reported .cc sale of all time. 882.cc was the previous high numeric reported in .cc selling in December 2019 for $42,500.
On the flipside Trader.us closed at $780 on Dynadot, the name sold back in 2011 for $6,500. .US can just get no real traction in the aftermarket. GoDaddy buying Neustar has some thinking there might be some light down the road, but it remains to be seen what GoDaddy can actually do to spur more aftermarket sales for the .US extension.
