Dot Com Dominated Top Sales Again in 2013

The .com extension wrapped up 2013 with 82 out of the top 100 domain sales of the year. Of course there are deals that go unreported or only a select few know about, so as always I look to DN Journal as the publication of record.

The 18 non .com sales were broken down as:

In 2012 the non .com domain managed to take 21 spots and were broken down by:

In 2011 there were only 15 non .com sales that made the top 100:

Over the course of the past 3 years the .net extension tallied the most non .com sales at 9 out of the combined 54 non .com sales.
