The Science of Search
HTPCompany put out this interesting video that is a documentary style look at Search. They uploaded it to You Tube and they go on to say:
This in-depth search engine documentary features interview with Dr. Leonard Kleinrock, “Father of the Internet” and winner of the 2008 National Medal of Science Award; Documentary includes UCLA, USC and UCR professors and experts.
I watched the whole video which is 5 minutes long, it is a very detailed and academic look at search. From a domainer or developer standpoint it gives some insight into the future of not just search, but the future of monetizing websites and online advertising.
Its not snappy and in your face but it is very detailed and thought provoking.
