The thing about new gtld sales that I have seen much more in new gtlds than .com, is that sometimes there is just that one buyer. The name sells for a nice price and when the buyer drops it for whatever reason it goes for pennies.
3D.chat sold for $3,250 back in 2016 at Uniregistry. Today it closed at just $115 on Namecheap.
I remember Robots.life sold for $2,500. It dropped and I registered it never got any interest. So sometimes it makes sense just to sell and move on as there might never be another buyer.
