Afternic made an announcement today with regards to domain name sales and their Good as Gold digital wallet.
For a limited time, Afternic sellers who use Good as Gold will receive a 3% bonus on every payout processed between March 1 and April 30, 2026.
How the 3% Bonus Works
Afternic sellers who choose Good as Gold as their payout method will receive a 3% bonus on all payouts processed between March 1 and April 30, 2026.
- Promotional Period: March 1 – April 30, 2026
- Bonus Payment: May 2026 (all eligible bonuses paid together)
- Eligibility: Good as Gold must be selected as your payment method before each payout processes
Example: If you have $10,000 in Afternic payouts during the promotional period, you’ll receive an additional $300 credited to your Good as Gold balance in May 2026.

It sounds good though I don’t win enough auctions to justify letting GoDaddy sit on 3k or 10k for a small 3% bonus. If I could withdraw it after 3-6 months if unused then maybe. Otherwise I think I think I’ll take my 10k payout and let it earn 4%+ in a money market account where I can withdraw as needed to pay for any auctions won–plus I’ll be paying with my credit card that gives me 2% cash back.
