For most it goes without saying, you check all your email boxes, not just the inbox. Stuff that is not trash gets into the trash box, stuff that is not spam gets into the spam box. When you are in the business of having email be a vital part of your communications you need to be on top of everything.
Namepros member @DomainNews posted a story of losing out on a $100K sale. They did not reveal the name but there is a screenshot from Escrow.com.
I conducted this deal with an end user in 2015 at Escrow and wind the deal at 100000USD and told him just let me know as they paid to Escrow, Several days passed but the buyer didn’t pay it, So , I just took it as a joker and didn’t take it to my heart.
after 8 Years I found the buyer paid to Escrow as I log in my account, and several emails urged me to transfer in my trash email LOL…
Now if true, that just sucks. That’s a lot of money to miss out on for not checking trash in your email. I know one time I got an offer for a domain name from Afternic that went to Junk box at Hotmail. I was like I have several emails from Afternic sitting in my inbox, why did this email go there? Sometimes stuff goes wacky, you need to always check.
