Sonora.com closed at $92,000 at GoDaddy auctions. Now this domain is not at GoDaddy (Squarespace) so the previous registrant might have time to renew. The domain name was registered in 1994.
Andy Booth posted on X that he was the winning bidder. Sonora has a lot of potential end users using Sonora in their domain name. SonoraQuest.com, WearSonora.com, SonoraCa.com.
In Spanish, “sonora” literally means “sonorous” or “loud,” and it’s the feminine form of the adjective “sonoro”. It’s also the name of a state in northwestern Mexico.

Maybe https://t.co/eueb1JbG0f will lose its “training wheels” and become a true competitor in the sound space. I love the brand. Something different about it. And it’s where Castaneda met Don Juan.
