999.tv sold for $1,750 way back in 2011 at Sedo. Numeric .tvs have been of interest to some domain investors. Usually when I see a domain wanted ad for .tv they want numerics. NN and NNN.
So it looks like someone goofed by letting their 999.tv expire and if it gets paid GoDaddy will pocket $38,000.
