The domain name of former U.S. Senator John Edwards expired and fetched a nice price at GoDaddy auctions. JohnEdwards.com closed at $24,750.
The domain name was forwarding to EdwardsKirby.com a law firm founded by Mr. Edwards.
It will be interesting to see if the name gets paid for and what the buyer does with the name. More than likely a law firm knows how to file a UDRP. Of course the former Senator is not the only John Edwards in the world. Usage will be the key.
