His domain name was left to expire and it closed at $7,100 on GoDaddy auctions. Now the name was at 123 Reg so he might still have time to renew. Not all expiry partners at GoDaddy prevent a registrant to renew after the auction close. It would make sense for Mr. Beckett to recover his domain name.
isnt this frowned upon in the domain industry or is it ok when a well known domainer does it.
