XG.org sold for $985 back in 2004 at Afternic. It resold on Friday at NameJet for $4,810. I thought this price was a little low for a LL.org. So checking Namebio I was surprised that there have only been 116 reported sales in the niche.
There had not been a sale since last August and that was QR.org a two letter with meaning. The retail sale took home $24,898 at Sedo. It still sits parked at Sedo.
The highest reported LL.org is US.org at $45,000. They are actually using it to offer subdomains. .US.ORG is a new domain extension for organizations, projects, websites and people with a higher purpose than simply maximizing profits.
