They bought the names moto.ai and motor.ai from me in 2017. I don’t know why they were dropped, they seem to be good names. I bought names igor.ai for $1,004 and gbot.ai for $304 at this auction. Igor is my name, and I bought gbot.ai to strengthen my name gptbot.ai with the idea of a fashionable GPT.

my portfolio of .ai domains comprises one keyword domains superior to all the domains sold in the auction, w/the exception of style.ai – that was a great pickup for the buyer
i regged or purchased over 50 one word .ai domains and at least 30 have been acquired – mainly large companies and funded startups. no 6 figure sales..a few 5 figure sales…most were mid-to high 4 figure sales…i’d say avg: 7500 usd circa each
no spectacular sales, but a good roi
i’m getting at least 3 price requests each day on my remaining .ai domains, but won’t sell any of these for less than 5 figures
i’m content to wait…no renewals coming up until 2024 and 2025
i regged either recover.ai or recovery.ai in 2016 and sold for about 2500 usd if i recall in 2018…
good names get dropped if the startup goes belly-up
one of my .ai domains was acquired by a well-funded startup. but their trademark was not approved, so they paid a branding company to come up with another name…then the company got acquired by a large ev company…
