Onsale.com was an early entrant to the world wide web, coming online in 1995. The domain name was dropped and reregistered in 1999.

Onsale.com has sold more than 4,000 travel packages since the section was added in September. Each day, there are four travel categories up for bid, primarily focusing on cruises and timeshare rentals.
The company changed it’s name to ecost.com. There is a Wikipedia page showing it shut down in 2014.
The name expired and closed at $77,500. A very solid name that should be a real asset for any online merchant. The company is now 8 years removed from shutting down and it’s previous history.
