Two domain investors from China are going to be kicking themselves. NFT3.com sold for $50,000 at Sedo. The domain name was registered in 2017 and dropped after one year. It was then registered in 2019 and dropped after one year.
Third time was the charm and the third Chinese registrant sold the domain name for big bucks in less than 9 months.
Last month one domain name investor sold a NFT related .com for $25,000. That sale took just 67 days.

Wow.. I had a situation where I hand reg’ed a 3-word domain and let it expire after 1 year. Recently I got an email from afternic saying it had sold. I don’t even remember listing it for sale tbh.
Anyway, I logged into my reg account and it was no longer in my account. I dug further and realized it was still in redemption status!
So I paid the redemption fee, transferred the domain and got paid 8x out the door.
Crazy how things work out.

I Registered a just dropped domain in 2019 and sold it last week to Amazon for $25000. I just disclose details in NamePro soon.

How did you get in contact with Amazon? Did they contact you? Can you help me with a contact ?
steve says
Yeah, it happens
I just move on
I don’t think I ever dropped a domain that sold for xxxxx later
many sold for xxxx later….all good…no remorse…life is short
steve says
I had planned to drop a domain last month
then an offer of 3500 usd came in via afternic
so there you go
company ceo sent me an email after the transaction for agreeing to sell at that price
i don’t think it would be good karma to counter for a domain i’d planned to drop
