The domain name NetFliz.com closed at $3,889 on Monday at DropCatch. The domain name registered in 2002 had traveled around the world, parked in many places. Then it dropped.
It’s hard parking a domain name like this in my opinion because it’s going to show ads for NetFlix. Considering the fact that Netflix tends to file UDRP’s on typos, (and has one all but one, Netlix was registered in 1999 and was running a legitimate hosting business.)
Just a couple months ago they won a UDRP on the domain name NetLFlix.com. The domain name is currently parked at Sedo with Netflix ads.
Worth the risk? I vote no, better places to spend nearly $4K.
