CoinTelegraph.com is reporting that Badger.com sold for $300,000. The buyer is the Badger DAO a decentralized finance project.
“Essentially Arben Kane purchased it for $300k with the intention of transferring ownership to the DAO. He went direct to the seller since he knew him personally while I was working with brokers quoting me $500k so the middle men get their cut,” said Spadafora. “Now I’m putting a proposal together to have the community sign off on using treasury funds to buy it from Arben at the cost he paid.”
Interesting that the broker got cut out and was asking almost double for the domain name. The broker cannot be pleased the seller sold direct for $300,000.
The name was registered in 1993. The domain name changed hands for $27,400 in 2011 at NameJet.

Who is the broker that got ✂️ 🤔?Maybe should have asked for exclusivity as the broker or maybe contract to sell was over when owner decided to sell direct.

The seller may have given the broker the 500K ask price, but with a direct offer on the table was willing to sell for less. That’s far more likely.
