      Thanks for the kind words!

Yea, they’re awful. It’s this really rare form of migraine that exactly mimics a stroke, so the first time it ever happened to me in July while I was playing with my daughters, I thought I was minutes away from dying in front of them. I was telling my older daughter that if daddy falls asleep to call an ambulance. After a barrage of tests at the ER they told me it was a migraine. What a huge relief.

It’s a really bizarre experience. First you get pressure in your head and your vision gets really blurry, then you start seeing big rainbow-colored starbursts, then half your body goes completely numb head to toe, your speech becomes slurred, muscle weakness, the whole shebang. The most unusual (but thankful) part… no headache whatsoever.

Although that said, often it does get followed by a horrible traditional migraine that makes me throw up for 15 minutes straight. When that happens it keeps me up all night and I end up hardly getting out of bed for days. This was happening every few days for more than a month straight. So I was basically useless, as soon as I would recover I might get one day of peace and then have another attack.

Thankfully my amazing wife researched neurology centers, and applied to get me into the best one in the country. They took my case and put me on an experimental treatment that seems to be working (too early to say). I haven’t had any more of the traditional (painful) migraines since, and the frequency of the rare migraines is getting less and less. Now I’m on Day 17 in a row with no attacks (knock on wood).

It’s been a crappy past few months but things are finally looking up. People have been going through way worse than me though with this pandemic. 2020 sucks.

What an accomplishment. What do you think is the total of all domain name sales including not reported, $10B, $20B?

Thank you Michael for all of your work in so diligently maintaining NameBio. The search interface is top notch. Where would our industry be without NameBio? Less informed, that’s for sure!

Hope your migraines soon gone away.

    Bob
