ST-Ericsson was a multinational manufacturer of wireless products and semiconductors, supplying to mobile device manufacturers. It was a joint venture between Ericsson and STMicroelectronics established on 3 February 2009 and dissolved 2 August 2013.
The domain name STERICSSON.com sold for $22,500 in 2011 at Sedo and dropped a couple days ago. The name closed at DropCatch for $3,601. I see this as a waste of money really. I mean Ericsson is still in business and there could be the potential for a UDRP. It has a decent link profile and Trust flow. But you would want to build a site that was reminiscent of the old site.
SoundChip.com was sold for $8,750 just 3 years ago and was left to expire. Closed at GoDaddy for $915. There is a developed website on the .ch.
OTZI.com was another 2017 sale that dropped. Selling for $10,000 at Uniregistry it went for $1,638 at DropCatch. It was a fashion brand.
On the flip side Leo from Domaincracy the seller of Fibr.com, sold TextBased.com for $6,600. The domain name looks to have been acquired for just $160.
