
This past week produced some pretty sweet flips on names held for a year or less.
Braden Pollock knocked it out of the park with his $30,000 sale of MoodRing.com. The domain was acquired at GoDaddy auction for $2,501 on November 14, 2019.
The mood ring was created in 1975 by two New York inventors, Josh Reynolds and Maris Ambats, who bonded liquid crystals with quartz stones set into rings. They initially retailed for $45 for a “silvery setting” and $250 for gold
Mark Levine of DomainTheory.com picked up amped.io for $150 in July of 2019 and sold it for $3,200. Mark also sold WinWinRealty.com for $2,850 he acquired the domain name for $222 in April of 2018.
FindCBD.com was purchased at Sedo for $2,000 in November of 2019. It sold for $4,650 at Flippa.
Reality.app from $1,650 in April to $24,000 in July.
