Sedo reported that Oxygen.us sold for $17,999 in their latest domain name sales report.
This is the highest reported .us sale over the past two years and the fourth highest of the last five years.
The domain is already in operation as the buyer has moved from OxygenBank.com to Oxygen.us.
Oxygen is a digital banking app, here is there Google play store location.
Website description:
We’re Oxygen: the fresh new bank account for free thinkers, rebels and entrepreneurs. Awarded Best Digital Banking Account* in the US, we look after people who want to rise above.
I thought maybe .app might be the way to go. OxygenApp.com owned by someone else. They do own Oxygen.bank, they redirect it.
Congrats to the seller, good luck to Oxygen.
Observer says
They were better off staying with OxygenBank.com since it is a .com and doesn’t have domain confusion issues like Oxygen.us would have.
Now that they’ve done this, this will create confusion where visitors may assume their site is Oxygen.com which they don’t control.
This was a bad decision.

I love it! They probably saw how successful zoom is on a .us.
With a little marketing from GD, .us could pick up sales.
Observer says
I see, so clearly you are unaware of what happened to Zoomus.com, huh?

So, Oxygenus.com will now receive more traffic due to this change.
So, you see, this clearly proves that this was a bad decision.
