Kohl’s is a department store with over 1,100 stores making it one of if not thee largest department store chain in the U.S.
According to marketwatch Kohl’s have about 5 months of cash available, so the extended closures caused by Covid-19 are affecting them big time.
So it’s interesting to see someone win an auction for a typo, Khols.com at $81,559. The name was used for many years to generate affiliate income. The name was eventually lost in a UDRP.
Kohl’s had the name and let the name expire, now the fun will really begin.
For $1,500 I would imagine they can file another UDRP, so will the buyer really pay? Why did they pay that much?
Should be interesting.
Domainers are dumb
There are multiple fair use scenarios for this LLLLL domain. It could be used for a non-retail sector like insurance. But the the above poster is right. Let’s see how smart or dumb this person really is
