Donnied79 is a long time .tv domainer at Namepros, he has put together some very nice sales including USA.tv for $125,000.
He announced a new sale today, selling DIY.tv for $32,500. This is the third time Diy.tv has sold, https://namebio.com/diy.tv
It sold for $5,000 in 2008 and $9,803 although the timing of both is questionable, maybe one is an error. I doubt someone bought the name for $9,803 and then sold it for a loss 1 month later.
There is a network called DIY https://www.diynetwork.com/shows
Hello all,
I sold DIY.tv for 32.5K USD and I’m happy to share it.
I’ve owned this domain for some years and it was one of my favorite. I acquired it from a NP member and had many offers in the past.
I think it could have sold for a higher price but I decided to sell for 2 reasons:
1 – the buyer is a company I’ve already made some deals with in the past
2 – with this economy I preferred to sell it a little bit lower but have liquidity. This is my personal second-highest sale after USA.tv and before Furniture.tv (that sold for 24K many years ago).
I’m going to report it on DNJ and I’m happy to have the confirmation that .tv is one of the best TLD in the market.
Cheers.

Wait didn’t this sell for $75k prior
No it sold previously but for a lot lower, https://namebio.com/diy.tv
Congratulations on these sales. They make me feel good about a name I have…CarsForSale.TV Like many others, the auto industry has been evolving to keep up with consumers demands. And the people are demanding video…instead of going to a traditional website like cars.com, autotrader.com or carmax.com. were you can look at pictures of a car and read a description…I’m envisioning a TV channel where dealers and private sellers a like can list their cars for sale with video instead of scrolling through tons of pictures and reading the same old pumped up descriptions…any one care to invest?
That’s a heck of a sale, congrats!
I’ve listed CNBC.tv at dropcatch.com in case you’re interested. 🙂
About 12 days left in auction and it currently has the most bids and highest bid of any private seller listing. ($200 currently)
Cheers!
