Name.com looking to help a food bank keep it’s home

September 30, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

Name.com is looking for help in saving a Denver based food bank, they put up a page on Name.com and provided a video below.

I have no affiliation and was not asked to post this I just think it’s a cool thing they are doing and any publicity helps.

Since 1967, The Community Ministry of Southwest Denver has been a beacon of hope in the College View neighborhood, providing food, children’s clothing, school supplies, energy assistance, holiday food boxes, and holiday gifts to thousands of families in need. But now, the organization is in danger of losing its location. After so many years of serving the Denver community, it’s time for the community to give back to it.

What can you do? It’s pretty simple: send a dollar. Or two. We’ve set a goal to help fundraise $800,000 on behalf of Community Ministry—and every donation, no matter how small, goes a long way.

Disclosure: I did contribute $20 to the fundraising goal.
