One of our contributors here, Vincent Jacques of VinsDomains reported on Namepros that he sold FindMe.online for $7,500.
.Online is a string owned by one of our advertisers Radix. Vincent did not elaborate on the negotiations or how the sale went down, but you can follow the thread on Namepros.
FindMeonline.com was registered in 2012 after it dropped previously.
FindMeonline.net/org/info are all registered. The .org just last month.
Very happy for Vincent, best of luck to the buyer.
Thanks Ray! Had a potential buyer with pockets nibbling for a while and was obviously very interested, but with small price increases during negotiation on another platform. Like many domainers, I spent the last couple weekends assigning fixed prices to names listed at Afternic to shake things up. Three days later, this one sold there. I agree with many of the comments at Namepros that it was a win win for buyer and seller. I indicated I thought I left money on the table, only because of those negotiations. I was asking for low $XX,XXX and think the name is worth that. If Berkins had sold this name for $25K, nobody would blink an eye. Just sayin! Like most, I’m curious to see who the buyer is and if it is the same potential buyer I was dealing with.
Anyway, I still have BuyPot.online and PlaceBets.online, so I’ve got some marketing to do now that I have a good comp!
Another pretty good newG sale.
Congrats Vin!
You’re right about Berkens though. If he would have sold this even at 50k everyone would have said, yep i can see it.
As much as i personally have resisted from new G’s it sure seems like there is money to be made as long as you reg right. Nice sales like these have me warming up a bit to some newG’s though to tell you the truth.
And i do agree, if the buyer has development plans for this domain it really was a good buy for them as well.
Keep up the great work Vin and thanks for the story Ray!
