Byron Allen and his Entertainment Studios have been one of the more prolific owners and developers on top tier .tv domains.
I often see in my cable tv guide, shows like Pets.tv or Recipe.tv. Mr.Allen’s company has eight 24/7 HD Cable And Broadcast Networks.
Well Podcasts.tv can now be added to the mix as Namepros member Nomad 91 said they sold the domain for $16,000. It looks this will be used for their property Podcast Planet, Podcasts.tv now redirects to PodcastPlanet.com. Nomad91 mentioned, I sold the same buyer podcastplanet.tv 2 years ago for $xxxx.
Congrats to Nomad91 and thanks to Mr.Allen for being one of the top supporters of .tv.
Great sale!
With .TV prices increasing unsure they are a good investment.
the person that started that “Price Increase on .TVS” doesnt own any good ones. .TV domains and Cryptocurrency domains are where the Cheese is.
,com is for selling socks. i wonder why Jeff Bezos didnt buy twitch.com for 1 billion. (because it was built on Twitch.TV and .TV is for Video and whatever Billions of people watch in billions of livingrooms for the past 100 years.) and berkins/schwartz dont own any great crypto domains i bet. they missed the boat. porn can only make you millions Crypto and Video can make you Billions.
You would expect that it will become a stand alone site if you go by the other examples in this fine .Tv collection
I think a lot of traffic will bleed to Podcast.tv . Nice to see .tv being used for real sites.
I would like to see a study done as to the percentage of people who will click on ______.tv in an online advertisement as opposed to the percentage of people who will click on ______.com, in an otherwise identical advertisement.
My guess is that more people will click on the .tv domain, because it tells them they will find video on the site.
Of course if the .com is a ______tv.com domain, there might not be much difference.
