Turns out uRun.com was not a shill bid situation

April 1, 2017 by Raymond Hackney

The domain urun.com was put up for sale on Namepros and people started talking in languages other than English (Turkish). This caused confusion and had some thinking there was a shill bidder.

Eric Lyon has reopened the thread now after doing research.

After extensive research and review, we have determined that @em1ncan and @Mehmet1121 are not the same person. This was suspected because Mehmet1121 responded to an offer on uRun.com, which he was also making offers on, with a “No” as if to reject the offer on the seller’s behalf. However, that post and many others in this sales thread were written in another language (Not English). This likely added to the confusion.

@Mehmet1121 was in the market for 4-Letter .com domains and also interested in this domain name.

From our thorough investigation, it appears that Mehmet1121 (a potential buyer of uRun.com) was saying “No” to succinctly imply that “No, the seller will not accept your offer, because my offer will be better. :D” in a cheeky way, or he may have just been trying to cause trouble in general, since the Mehmet1121 account has a history of causing trouble and has now been permanently closed. All of Mehmet1121’s offers have been removed.

All offers before this post are no longer binding. If you’re still interested, please post again or DM the seller.

If you have any questions or concerns, please create a new thread outside of the marketplace or contact support directly, and we’ll be happy to assist. Do not post in this thread unless you are making an offer or you’re the seller.

Important: All posts must be in English. Do not post in any other language.
