Domain Investing Stats and Tips

You have to know what you own

March 28, 2017 by Raymond Hackney

You have to know what you own, or ask someone. What in my opinion is the best value buy of the year took place on Sedo this week. DWN.com listed as buy it now for 2,999 Euros was scooped up quickly by a Chinese registrant. I verified this with Sedo for 100% accuracy. So there is no conspiracy here.

The seller was Data Warehouse Network out of Cork, Ireland. Here is the thing they got acquired by another company back in 1999 and that company allowed this asset to be sold dirt cheap.

Founded in 1993, Data Warehouse Network provides packaged
industry-specific business intelligence applications as well as consulting services, applied research, education and market intelligence to both business and IT communities involved in the development of data warehouse and advanced
decision support systems.  The Data Warehouse Network is based in County Cork, Ireland.

That’s like walking around and finding a piece of jewelry on the floor worth a lot of money.

There’s a conspiracy there. As a matter of fact, there are many possible conspiracies between the listing, Sedo, the company, typographical errors, proxy buying etc, that no one can choose just one, but something is NOT on the level, as is usual in domain market places.

Oh yeah get the tin foil hats, big conspiracy. You know who never sees conspiracies ? People who sell names for great money consistently, Frank, Mike Mann, Rick, berkens, Nat Cohen.

Always the people who have never sold names for big money who see the conspiracies.

It’s always the nobodies, I do blame the blogs and forums for allowing them to spew their rubbish.

It would be interesting to know how it was found. 3k euro is incredible for a LLL.com. That is 10 times as much.
    Congrats to smart buyer!
