Domain Investing Stats and Tips

OE.com listed on Namepros with a buy it now price

March 14, 2017 by Raymond Hackney

You don’t see many six figure listings on Namepros that actually justify a six figure price. Here is an exception as member Maxx500 has put OE.com up for sale with a buy it now price of $645,000.

I believe Maxx500 is brokering the name as it’s owned by Mick Gleissner of Bigfoot Ventures.

I am sure the name is being marketed many other places, doubt it sells on Namepros but it helps spread the word.

Why buy OE.com from Gleissner? Why not simply adopt his strategy: File a trademark on “OE.com”, and then sue Bigfoot?

I purchased a domain for $200k on Namepros last year. I saw offers as high as $400k last year when I was looking to divest. Don’t you work for Namepros? Shouldn’t you know these things…

No I don’t work for Namepros and sales in the six figure range there are very rare.

I have been on Namepros since 2004 and I have never seen one verified 6 figure sale, what was the name you purchased for $200,000 in public, was it reported to Ron @DnJournal ?
